Quality Assurance Analyst

We are looking for a Quality Assurance Analyst to join our team. This role reports directly to the Quality Assurance Coordinator. The successful applicant will play a critical role in the QA team and in ensuring a high level of quality in our software products. You are an enthusiastic person, proficient in test methods, and capable of learning new products & technologies quickly.

Supervisor: Quality Assurance Coordinator

Essential Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Science, Engineering, or Computer Science; or technical diploma or certificate in IT or Computer Science; or equivalent work experience.
Practical knowledge of networking, Windows operating systems (XP, W2K, 2003), computer hardware, and relational database.
Understanding of “big picture” in software development lifecycles.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Self-motivated and proactive, ability to learn quickly and apply new concepts, tools and applications.
Ability to multitask and adjust to changing priorities.
Ability to work individually and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

Software product testing for the CardioComm product line.
Recording, tracking, and reviewing quality problems.
Researching quality problems as needed.
Updating, reviewing and creating software testing documentation, e.g., software test plan and test cases specifications.
Reviewing software requirements and design documents to support testing activities.
Performing and/or assisting with installations and upgrades (remotely or on-site)
Performing the task of Customer Service Representative occasionally or as requested by supervisor
