Expansion of Worldwide Distribution Agreement with Philips

 

VICTORIA, B.C., April 29, 2003 - CardioComm Solutions Inc. (TSX-V:CCG) (the "Company", "CardioComm") is pleased to announce that Philips Medical Systems ("Philips"), a division of Royal Philips Electronics (NYSE:PHG, AEX:PHI), has chosen to expand upon its distribution agreement with the Company.

 

Philips is currently the exclusive worldwide distributor for CardioComm's Arrhythmia Management System and AutoAttendant that features the Philips proprietary EASI technology. CardioComm and Philips are now expanding this distribution arrangement to include non-exclusive worldwide distribution of CardioComm's newest "Lite" software solution for event monitoring and transtelephonic pacemaker follow up. As well, Philips will now market AutoAttendant as a product for sale in the United States .

Both companies will be at NASPE ( North American Society of Pacing and Electrophysiology) Annual Scientific Sessions from May 14-17 in Washington .
