CardioComm Solutions Inc. Partners with Guidant Corporation in Development of New Patient Management System |
VICTORIA, B.C., August 19, 2004 – CardioComm Solutions Inc. (TSX-V:CCG) (the "Company", "CardioComm"), is pleased to announce its partnership in the development of Guidant Corporation’s (NYSE:GDT) LATITUDE™ Patient Management System. The system was previewed at the 25 th Annual Scientific Sessions of the Heart Rhythm Society recently held in San Francisco.
Guidant’s LATITUDE™ Patient Management System is a customized and proprietary version of CardioComm’s GlobalCardio™ application that allows for the upload of a full data session from a Guidant data disk into a web-based database to provide an overall patient data management solution for a cardiology practice.
GlobalCardio™ is a new and unique solution that enables recording, storing and managing cardiac data from multiple sources over the Internet. GlobalCardio delivers a centralized web-based solution for secure patient management. By providing the ability to work from virtually any location at any time, GlobalCardio gives practitioners the opportunity to maximize the use of their time, productivity and earning potential in the most efficient manner possible.
