VICTORIA, B.C., June 25, 2004 – CardioComm
Solutions Inc. (TSX-V:CCG) (the "Company", "CardioComm"), is pleased
to report that last evening at the historic Fairmont Empress Hotel
in Victoria, B.C., it was presented with the Vancouver Island Advanced
Technology Centre's ("VIATeC") Award for Innovative Excellence
- Software and Software Distribution.
The Award is designed to recognize an organization that has researched
and designed an innovative software or electronic service delivery
that is expected to revolutionize a sector, method of business or
way of life. CardioComm was nominated for GlobalCardioÔ it's celebrated
web based cardiac patient management system.
CardioComm Solutions was a finalist along with a number of very
innovative offerings from companies including; TecNet Canada Inc.,
Custom House Global Foreign Exchange, Genologics Life Sciences Software
Inc. and Corporate Mentoring Solutions Inc.
Stephen Martin, CEO, accepted the award on behalf of the Company.
Upon receiving the award he commented, in part, that "it is a great
honour to accept this award on behalf of a very creative and hard
driving team at CardioComm. I would also like to thank our valued
customers and partners and of course the outstanding contributions
of VIATeC to the local technology industry."
