(TSX-V:CCG) (the "Company", "CardioComm"), is pleased to announce that Meditel Srl ("Meditel") of Milan, Italy is successfully serving over 500 pharmacies throughout Italy offering 12 lead ECG tests, loop event monitoring and other telemedicine services .

Meditel is the exclusive customer for CardioComm's patient management software system called GlobalCardio Ô within the Italian marketplace. Meditel promotes innovative telemedicine services through the Italian pharmacy network and uses GlobalCardioT as the backbone to their system.

Dr. Robert Rocci, President and CEO of Meditel Srl stated that " GlobalCardioT has proven to be an efficient solution..in only a few minutes patients are able to receive their ECG report approved by a cardiologist". Dr. Rocci further observed, "Cardiologists are also very satisfied with the work they can perform no matter where they are. Their patients are able to have their ECGs taken in facilities, such as pharmacies, which are easy to use and are well distributed all over the country".

Recently Meditel started to promote GlobalCardioT to hospitals and university research clinics to monitor arrhythmia and chronic heart failure in discharged patients. To date, four hospitals are using GlobalCardioT for this purpose and, considering the responses demonstrated by this market, many others are expected to be connected. Stephen Martin, CEO of CardioComm, noted "In Italy, hospital administrators appreciate the system's flexibility which allows for each facility to design a customized service to meet particular needs without a significant upfront investment. We are extremely pleased with Meditel's success to date and believe it highlights the broad potential for GlobalCardioT worldwide."

In addition to pharmacies, universities, hospitals and research clinics, GlobalCardioT is currently connected to 60 general practitioners and a few long term care facilities in Italy that are receiving 12 lead ECG services and clinical advice by cardiologists affiliated with Meditel.
