VICTORIA, B.C., May 17, 2006 - CardioComm Solutions Inc. (TSX-V:CCG) ("CardioComm", the "Company"), is pleased to announce that it has formed a strategic alliance with Minneapolis-based QRS Diagnostic, LLC ("QRS"). CardioComm has partnered with QRS to seamlessly incorporate their 12 lead ECG device called Universal ECGT for use within the suite of CardioComm's software platforms. This collaboration is well timed as CardioComm is in final development of an expanded full 12 lead ECG Management module to be incorporated into the Company's web based GlobalCardioT.
CardioComm will be launching GlobalCardio in a wider ECG Management market on a fee for service basis, in addition to the traditional upfront license fee which shall be introduced later this year. This is a positive development for physicians who will have the opportunity to access patient cardiology data from anywhere using the Internet. QRS will be participating in this launch and is a key partner in our efforts to offer cost efficient technology solutions to physicians.
"We are very enthused about our alliance with CardioComm," says QRS founder and CEO, Spencer Lien. "The integration of our diagnostic 12-lead ECG with their software systems will greatly expand our market, providing advanced ECG management capabilities to physicians worldwide. This is another great example of a business partner using the QRS Developer's Kit to rapidly create a unique solution."
