CardioComm Solutions Inc. Announces New Director

 

VICTORIA, B.C., November 29, 2006 – CardioComm Solutions Inc. (TSX-V:CCG) ("CardioComm", the “Company”), is pleased to announce that Mr. Etienne Grima MSc., CHE has joined the Board of Directors effective immediately.

Mr. Grima brings almost 20 years of wide ranging experience to the Board such as basic and clinical administration, business development and a dedication to corporate governance. Mr. Grima is a co-founder of the Canadian Heart Research Centre (“CHRC”) where he acts as COO and CFO. Prior to co-founding the CHRC, Mr. Grima managed the St. Michael's Hospital Health Sciences Research Centre which is comprised of 120 research members and over 100 research staff. During his tenure, he developed a detailed understanding and methodology of the successful performance of clinical research within a hospital environment and became a member and Accredited Health Science Executive of the Canadian College of Health Service Executives.

Mr. Grima earned an undergraduate degree of the University of Toronto . He completed his graduate studies in 1986 with a Masters degree from the Faculty of Medicine, Department of Physiology, Centre for Research in Neurodegenerative Diseases.

As a co-founder of the CHRC which is a preferred provider for conducting clinical research in both Canada and the United States , Mr. Grima will bring a unique insight to the Company as it focuses to develop a series of commercially designed software programs to the marketplace such as the recently announced co-development deal with MD Primer Inc. Over the past ten years, the CHRC has not only developed exceptional relationships with the medical departments of major teaching and community hospitals but has also developed significant lines of communication with the legal council and research administrative offices representing clinical researchers across North America.
