CardioComm Solutions Inc. Receives Enthusiastic Response at Annual Heart Rhythm Society Meeting

 

VICTORIA, B.C., May 22, 2007 – CardioComm Solutions Inc. (TSX-V:CCG) ("CardioComm", the “Company”), is pleased to advise shareholders that the Company was well received at the Annual Heart Rhythm Society meeting held in Denver last week.

 

Throughout the meeting, CardioComm discussed the next phase of its GEMS™ software due for release in late Q2 2007. This release will include an updated version of its Health Level 7 (HL7) module which will be available for purchase by existing and new customers. HL7 has become the recognized standard for data exchange and messaging between software systems, enabling systems to exchange and synchronize patient data in multiple systems.  This improves both the quality data, and reduces repetitive data entry.

 

CardioComm has been consulted by several device manufacturers to assist in developing state of the art devices that are well integrated into the Company's software solutions.  Most recently, CardioComm has begun development on receiving digital files and wireless transmissions from event monitors.

 

CardioComm client base now exceeds 450 customers worldwide using its cardiac event monitoring software.  This includes cardiac monitoring services, hospitals, clinics, and small practices.  CardioComm has become recognized by the industry as a leader in Cardiac event monitoring software.
